Sam Gordon
Sam Gordon made headlines as a nine-year-old playing football with the boys and was featured in an NFL Super Bowl commercial, spoke at women’s conference with trailblazers like Gloria Steinem and Billie Jean King, and was first female recipient of an NFL Honors Award.
She started the first girls tackle football league in the country, partnered with Under Armour to create more opportunities for female football players, filed a Title IX lawsuit that resulted in Utah high schools making significant changes, and worked with Utah's Lieutenant Governor to draft a gender equality reporting legislation that was enacted into law in 2022.
Sam is a senior at Columbia University, where she played three seasons with the soccer team. She plans on attending law school next.
